Vegetarian Recipes that are 4 Weight Watchers FreeStyle Smart Points or Less (2024)

A couple of days ago, one of our MPM readers dropped a comment saying that many Weight Watchers friendly recipes have meat in them and that it can be difficult for vegetarians to find meatless recipes that give the WW FreeStyle Smart Points. I knew she was right because the majority of my recipes here on MPM include meat in them… especially now that chicken is zero points. Her comment inspired me to create this list.

On the one hand, I will say that she is right… it can be a little more challenging to find WW recipes that do not include meat as the main source of protein. On the other hand, I am happy to say that I managed to find over 60 delicious vegetarian WW friendly recipes that are currently out in the blogosphere right now, and I am linking up to them in this list.

The Weight Watchers friendly vegetarian recipes in this list come from Meal Planning Mommies and a few other top blogs that share WW FreeStyle Smart Points with their recipes. All of the vegetarian recipes listed below are sorted by the number of FreeStyle Smart Points per serving and are between 0 WW FreeStyle SP and 4 WW FreeStyle SP per serving. I hope you find some of the 60+ recipes on here to be helpful to you when you are trying to stick to your meatless diet.

I am aware that there are different terms for vegetarians that mean different things. Lacto-ovo-vegetarians, lacto-vegetarians, ovo-vegetarians, and vegans are all different classifications for vegetarians, and some exclude dairy and eggs while others do not. For this reason, I wanted to clarify what you can expect from this list…

Some of these recipes DO include chicken broth, which can always be substituted for vegetable broth. Some also include eggs and dairy products, but none of these recipes include meat, poultry, fish, or shellfish.
