914 Guru Group: Members ![]() | FWIW I’m less than impressed with the Prosperos garage diagrams. Why? 1) Brown and red colors are nearly identical. Red is OK. Brown is not brown as it should be. It’s hard to tell them apart at a quick glance. That quick glance was supposed to be the whole benefit of their color diagram. Maybe his printer was having a bad day ? But both my 914 and 911 diagrams seem to have the same issue. Anyone else notice this? 2) Prosperos block diagrams lack detail of what’s “in the box”. Haynes block diagram gives you some idea of what’s in the block. Example: electronic circuit, switch, relay, etc. This knowledge of what’s in the box is useful for troubleshooting. My go to is the Haynes manual 1st (which I’ve marked up with colors and notes over the years) or the Factory wiring diagram as a distant 2nd. |
