2018-2022ACS 5-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) files are now available indata.census.govand theFTP site.

2018-2022 ACS Variance Replicate Estimates Tables and Documentation Released January 25

2018-2022 ACS Variance Replicate Estimates Tables are now available, along with supporting documentation, through theVariance Replicate Estimates Tables data pageas well as theFTP site. These tables allow advanced data users to calculate margins of error when collapsing data within a table or across geographies.

2018-2022ACS 5-year estimates are available indata.census.gov,theAPI, and the summary file.

The2018-2022 ACS 5-year Press Kitincludes a wide range of resources, including the press release, and access to background materials for this release.

2018-2022 ACS 5-year estimates are based on data collected from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2022.

2018-2022ACS 5-year estimates are available for geographic areas down to the census tract and block group levels.

Supporting documentationhas been released to provide data users with a basic explanation of the sample design, estimation methodology, and accuracy of the data.

2018-2022 ACS 5-year Narrative Profiles Available

2018-2022 ACS 5-year Narrative Profilesare available for states, counties, places, metropolitan/micropolitan statistical areas, county subdivisions, ZIP Code Tabulation Areas, American Indian Area/Alaska Native Area/Hawaiian Home Lands and census tracts. Narrative Profiles summarize many topics using nontechnical text and graphs. Other profiles, such as Data Profiles and Comparison Profiles, are available indata.census.gov.

Release Schedule

The 2018-2022 ACS 5-year estimates are scheduled to be released on December 7, 2023. These data will be available for all geographic areas including census tracts, ZIP Code Tabulation Areas (ZCTAs), and block groups.

The 2018-2022 ACS 5-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) files and 2018-2022 ACS 5-year Variance Replicate Estimates are scheduled to be released on January 25, 2024. For more information on the release schedule, visit2022 ACS Release Schedule.

2022 ACS 1-year Supplemental Estimates are based on data collected from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, and theyare available for geographic areas with populations of 20,000 or more.

2022 ACS 1-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) files are now available on theACS website, theFTP site, and in the microdata analysis tool ondata.census.gov.Supportingdocumentationsuch as the PUMS User Guide, Accuracy of the PUMS, and PUMS Estimates for User Verification have been released to help users with this release.

2022 ACS 1-year estimates are available for geographic areas with populations of 65,000 or more.
